5 Money Saving Products
At Lemongrass Spa, we want to pamper you at home with luxurious body care products, but we realize a pampering session isn’t typically part of an everyday routine. Multiuse products save time and money plus are a great way to reduce waste and de-clutter your living space. The following five products can replace everything from hair styling products to basic skin-restoring ointments.
1. Healing Elements Balm
Available in Glide on Stick, 2 oz. jar and 6 oz. Family Size
It’s no wonder Healing Elements is our #1 selling product and at the top of this list. Zinc oxide and calendula have been studied for their healing abilities on skin conditions such as wounds, burns, ulcers and rashes and are used (separately) in medical-grade ointments. These two therapeutic ingredients paired with the soothing combination of apricot, jojoba and almond oils plus shea and mango butters, make Healing Elements your go-to for minor skin irritations. Healing Elements can be used as a night crème for dry, blemished or aging skin that may need a little extra care. It also doubles as a hair conditioner and styling product; use a dime-sized amount of Healing Elements to soften and control curls.
“Put Healing Elements on it” has become a joke around the Lemongrass Spa offices for every type of ailment, condition or problem.
2. Prebiotic 3-in-1 Wash
Available in Men’s Essentials and Unscented
The Prebiotic 3-in-1 Wash was formulated with saving time and money in mind. Let’s be honest, men and women alike don’t always have the time for a multi-step shower routine. The Prebiotic 3-in-1 Wash is a an effective body wash, shampoo, face wash and shave gel plus is gentle enough for each member of the family. Customers praise the formula’s ability to calm an itchy, flaky scalp while leaving skin and hair hydrated.
3. BB Crème
Available in Light, Medium, Tan, Deep and Dark
Busy moms and professionals need one product to look polished without spending precious time applying a full face of makeup, and BB Crème is it. This lightweight formula is an anti-ager, moisturizer, primer and foundation in one. When short on time, save minutes applying a couple pumps of BB Crème instead of layering multiple products, and quickly sweep a dry Foundation or Kabuki Brush over your face to soften lines.
4. Beard Oil
It’s no coincident another new product is on this list. It’s true: beard oil was the most requested men’s product, but nourishing and taming scruff isn’t all it can do. Women have been using Beard Oil in place of expensive hair oils to fight frizz and smoothes strands. Try using the Beard Oil as a hot oil treatment: heat a small amount of beard oil, leave on hair for 10-20 minutes and shampoo; avocado and jojoba oils help retain hair’s moisture while leaving it soft and manageable. The amazing anti-aging and restorative benefits of argan and moringa oils also leaves skin youthful and radiant.
5. Nail Balm
Available in 2 oz. jar, Nail Balm Duo (2 oz. jar with .75 oz. tube) and Nail Balm Trio
This classic product isn’t just a deep treatment for dry cuticles but is an excellent nut oil free alternative to the Healing Elements Balm. Use anywhere you find dry, chapped skin, including lips. Nail Balm’s combination of natural oils with anti-aging properties (olive oil, apricot kernel oil, avocado oil and vitamin E) help defend against free radical damage. Horsetail’s naturally high silica content makes it the perfect ingredient for smoothing hair: warm a small amount of Nail balm between palms and gently run fingers through hair to tame fly-a-ways.
A few multipurpose honorable mentions:
- Hydrating Body Spritz – a few sprays on wet hair detangles and leaves hair soft and smelling heavenly.
- Whipped Body Butter – use as a deep conditioning treatment for dry, damaged or over-processed hair.
- Body Polish – use in place of harsh scrubs to remove paint and grease from hands after a home project.
- Concealing Stick – apply as a primer on eyelids to keep mineral eye shadow in place.
