Giving Back

NEW! Compassion Campaign

Many Lemongrass Consultants have discovered that their true passion is in serving others.  The Home Office Team enjoys supporting the efforts of consultants who choose to organize fundraising events for charitable organizations or to give to families in need.  Throughout the year, Lemongrass Spa Products conducts initiatives to help serve organizations for the betterment of our communities and its citizens.   Through our Giving Back Fund, Lemongrass Spa Corporate Office is able to donate products and cash to small organizations and families in crisis.  These are just a few of the organizations we've helped support through the efforts of our sales consultants:

  • Sauk Saum
  • Ronald McDonald House
  • ChannelMom.com
  • Joplin, Missouri tornado victims assistance
  • American Red Cross
  • Waldo Canyon Fire victims

Cancer Care Gift Set

Samantha Meyer, like so many of us, has been directly affected by cancer. A year ago her father was diagnosed with lung and bone cancers and has undergone six months of chemotherapy followed by several months of radiation treatments. "During this time I've gotten to witness first-hand how incredibly hard these kinds of treatments are on the body, and how important the integrity of the skin can be when the immune system is so completely compromised," Meyer says.  She suggested a Cancer Care Gift Set that patients could use while undergoing treatments. The benefits of Healing Elements Balm, Organic Nail Balm in a Tube and the remarkable softening power of our Unscented Body Crème has helped cancer patients endure skin issues. Consider this gift to share with loved ones who could use some TLC for their dry skin. Samantha, a consultant in Winthrop, Iowa, plans to set up her own fundraiser to help give these products to local patients.

Our customers and consultants can purchase a Cancer Care Gift, item G4909 for only $29.

Ronald McDonald House

Jill Breheny, Sr. Director from Golden, Colorado developed a fundraiser to pamper the parents of children undergoing serious illnesses. For three years she and fellow consultants have raised money and sponsorships of Herbal Foot Kit Samplers ($7 each) to give to the parents residing at her local Ronald McDonald House.

"When I was a teenager there was a family next door that had a child with cancer," Jill explains. She understood the heartbreak and stress the parents had endured during their child's illness. She wanted to give back to the parents of children who could use some caring words and a gift that reminds them to take care of themselves. To get involved in this effort, contact your local Ronald McDonald House and ask about sponsoring gifts for parents staying there. Last year consultants collected donations from customers and purchased the Herbal Foot Kit Samplers and then delivered the kits to their local Ronald McDonald House during the holidays.

Operation Freedom Feet was born out of one consultants' desire to help support female soldiers serving overseas. "Those amazing women wear combat boots all day and deserve a pampering experience to let them know we are thinking of them." Stefanie Van Ness, a Consultant from Iowa, spearheaded the project five years ago. With the support of other Lemongrass Consultants, corporate sponsors and Lemongrass customers, nearly 2,000 Freedom Feet Foot Kits and a variety of other products have been shipped to US troops serving overseas. Shipments have been distributed in Afghanistan, Iraq, Japan, Germany and several Navy ships at sea.
