The Home Office Team enjoys supporting the efforts of consultants who choose to organize fundraising events for charitable organizations or to give to families in need. Throughout the year, Lemongrass Spa Products conducts initiatives to help serve organizations for the betterment of our communities and its citizens.
Ronald McDonald House
Lemongrass Spa Products consultants participated in a Compassion Campaign designed to pamper parents whose children are undergoing serious or life-threatening illnesses. Jill Breheny, Executive II Director from Golden, Colorado, was inspired to assist parents during their stay at Ronald McDonald House facilities because of her experience living next door to a family who had a child with terminal cancer.

Operation Freedom Feet
Operation Freedom Feet was born out of one consultants' desire to help support female soldiers serving overseas. "Those amazing women wear combat boots all day and deserve a pampering experience to let them know we are thinking of them." Stefanie Van Ness, and Executive Director from Iowa, spearheaded the project three years ago. With the support of other Lemongrass Consultants, corporate sponsors and Lemongrass customers, 132 Complete Cucumber Foot Kits were purchased and shipped plus 22 more donated from the home office in August 2009. The foot kits were distributed to female soldiers stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Our company goal for the summer of 2010 is to send 1,000 Freedom Feet Foot Kits to female soldiers serving overseas! Consider purchasing a kit for only $24, available in the Spa Shop!

Pink for the CURE
Each October Lemongrass Spa Products participates in the nationwide Susan G. Komen Foundation's "Passionately Pink for the Cure" event. We donate $1 for every Think Pink Gift Set purchased by customers and consultants. During the month of October, Consultants and customers can also choose to make a $1 donation added to their order to contribute towards the fundraising effort.
We are delighted to announce that Lemongrass Spa Products customers and consultants raised $542 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation during our October 2009 campaign! A big thank you to Wendy Gerlach, Executive Director from Moorhead, Minnesota and Karen Vieth, Sr. Regional Director from Elk Mound, Wisconsin for collecting the most donations and selling the most Think Pink items!
Channel Mom
As a busy mother of two elementary-school aged daughters, Heidi Leist, Founder of Lemongrass Spa, is passionate about offering mothers support on a spiritual, educational, emotional and financial level. A resource that she endorses is ChannelMom.Com, a web-based company that offers many facets of support to mothers around the country.
Jenny Dean Schmidt, President of ChannelMom.Com, feels that the media has placed too much emphasis on glamour and fame instead of placing importance on mothers who are raising the children who will ultimately grow up to be our government leaders, doctors and educators. ChannelMom.Com features uplifting and insightful information for moms and reality videos, including 'Save That Marriage' and 'Mom Makeover' (follow Kellie whose goal is to lose 200 pounds).
Lemongrass Spa developed 'Simply Mom' Body Creme for ChannelMom.Com to share with all mothers who deserve to be pampered!
