From the very first spa party, I just basically told my story about why I chose to represent Lemongrass. I explained how in 1984 my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, underwent lumpectomy and months of radiation; then in 2005 she was diagnosed with a much more aggressive form of breast cancer which required mastectomy and extensive chemotherapy; and how not even a year later she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. It was at that point she expressed to me the importance of using skincare products that didn't contain harmful chemicals that contributed to hormone imbalance and were cancer-causing. She was adamant I educate myself about the harmful ingredients used in my skincare and makeup to protect myself. The problem was, for the past few years in my searches for products without those ingredients, I couldn't fully embrace anything because they either didn't smell great, didn't feel wonderful, or just plain didn't work on my skin. And then.....I stumbled upon Lemongrass. What a God-send! At every spa party I conduct, each guest quickly comes to realize I am mainly there to educate everyone I come into contact with about the choices we have in our body products, that we don't have to settle for less, we don't have to put harmful ingredients into our bodies. We have a choice, and now is the time to expand on the new found knowledge. The financial gain I've experienced in secondary. |
I am so passionate about Lemongrass Spa Products and what the company stands for. My business really started to take off when I stepped out of my comfort zone and asked various friends of mine if they would like to host a party. Not one person in my small town had ever heard of Lemongrass, but they were willing to learn more about it.
