Our Story

I never would have imagined that going to a girl's night out party could completely change my life.  I was invited to a friend’s house where the hostess shared her bottles of lotions and potions with the guests and demonstrated how to make some home-made bath treats in their own kitchens. The ladies laughed while sharing stories of beauty blunders. Everyone loved the party!

The very next day, I called the hostess of the party and asked her to meet as quickly as possible. I had an idea that kept me up all night and wanted to brainstorm the business idea with her.  We began making natural bath crystals in our kitchens and tub teas with the intention of sharing them with our friends.  Even though we decided not to continue a business venture together, I continued to work on realizing my dream - - to own my own business so that I could share the love of natural spa products with others, all while having the flexibility to spend quality time with my husband and infant daughter. I took a leap of faith, quit my full-time office management position and dove in head-first.

Educating guests at my spa parties became my passion after discovering that there were dozens of toxic chemicals contained many lotions, cosmetics and shampoo.  During my pregnancy I was especially aware of exactly what I was putting on my body as well as what I was eating.  Determined to offer only the safest products available, I educated myself on formulating natural products by taking classes from local artisans and then sharing these creations at spa parties.  Dozens of spa parties later, I began inviting other women to join me in the business and created a consultant kit with some simple training. After running the company out of our home in Bailey for several years, my husband and business partner, Bryan, moved it to a commercial building in Pine, Colorado where a team of amazing women make the products by hand and ship them directly to homes all across the country.

We have been so blessed to build close relationships with the consultants who have joined us in our mission to pamper those around them. And now those women have their own "Lemongrass Story" they proudly share with others.

Lemongrass Spa owners and team members encourage our independent sales consultants to balance their career with family and God.

OUR POLICIES

Owner and founder, Heidi Leist insists on excellent customer and consultant care! We offer a 60-day return and exchange policy on any purchase. Customers may contact their consultant if they choose to exchange a product with the home office. Our shipping department is committed to serving our customers accurately and quickly, shipping orders within 7 business days or less from the date in which it is submitted. Many of our handcrafted products are date-stamped for freshness; we guarantee complete customer satisfaction for one year on most of our products. Lemongrass has developed formulations emulated from age-old family tinctures, ointments and remedies. We select only the highest grade oils, butters, botanicals and essential oils to create healing body treatments. Some of our products also contain phthalate-free fragrances, such as grapefruit, mango and pomegranate, to enhance your at-home spa experience.
